2008 marks the 19th year that the UC Davis School of Law will offer attorneys, judges and legal professionals from around the world the opportunity to participate in our programs especially designed for foreign practitioners and students.

Summer Program Highlights

Orientation in U.S.A. Law
July 13-August 9, 2008
This popular program provides an excellent overview of the U.S. legal system. Over the past 18 years, more than 1,800 participants from 50 countries have taken part in this program. Enroll by May 15 to qualify for the early enrollment discount.

Financing International Transactions
August 11-22, 2008
Legal, business and accounting professionals from law firms, corporations, banking institutions, insurance companies and other legal and financial markets gain a broad array of knowledge for advising clients in raising capital for international transactions.

The Eleventh Annual International Commercial Law Seminar in Cologne, Germany
June 16-27, 2008
Now in its eleventh year, the International Commercial Law Seminar is a joint collaboration between the University of California, the University of Cologne and the German Bar Association (DAV). The program will be offered for two weeks in June, 2008. Enroll by April 15 for the early enrollment discount.

Summer International Commercial Law LL.M.
July-August every summer
The Summer International Commercial Law LL.M. program was designed for working attorneys. Apply by May 15 to allow for adequate admissions processing time.
