International Programs at UC Davis Extension
UC Davis Extension International Programs is your connection to the University of California. For over 32 years, we've trained students and professionals from Japan, Germany, Korea, Chile, Mexico, Italy, Uzbekistan, Ivory Coast, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and many other countries.
Over the years, thousands of students and working professionals have come to UC Davis Extension to improve their English language skills, enhance their knowledge of international law, learn about U.S. business practices and explore a whole host of other topics. Whether it's on-site training overseas or intensive programs held in the Davis/Sacramento area, UC Davis Extension International Programs uses the knowledge to expertise of professionals in many fields to tailor training to a wide range of international participants.
These are some of the opportunities available to students from abroad:
English Language Programs
Improve your ability to communicate effectively in American English. Choose from four and ten-week intensive programs, customized programs for groups as well as specialized English language programs for medical and legal professionals.
The Bridge Program
Through the Bridge program you'll have access to a wide variety of regular UC Davis courses without having to formally enroll.
Law Programs
In cooperation with the School of Law at the University of California, Davis, we offer a wide variety of high-quality legal programs including two master's degrees.
Custom Programs
We can work with you to design a program to meet your specific educational needs. The program can be delivered in California or abroad.
Certificates and Diplomas
UC Davis Extension certificate programs provide an in-depth educational experience. Choose from over 30 different programs.
Distance Learning
Enjoy the flexibility to study when and where you want with distance learning courses from UC Davis Extension. We offer a wide variety of courses including project management and information technology. And most can be taken entirely online.
Other Programs for International Students
We offer courses in over 50 subjects including: viticulture and enology, business and management, brewing, agriculture, information technology, green building and sustainable design, environmental management and food science.
