Open Campus

Your Gateway to UC Davis Courses

This unique program allows you to take UC Davis graduate and undergraduate courses and receive credit for your work without formally applying.

Tap into the outstanding resources of UC Davis--great faculty, top-notch library, the intellectual stimulation of a world-class educational setting. Whether you're interested in language arts, political science, biology or any of the many areas of study offered by UC Davis, nearly all UC Davis courses are available to you through the Open Campus concurrent program. And you don't have to enroll in the university to participate!

Open to the public, the UC Davis Open Campus program provides access to the high-caliber University of California education that you would get if you were enrolled in a regular degree program. The Open Campus program helps you:

  • Take care of your prerequisites before entering a degree or post-graduate program.
  • Explore courses if you're considering returning to school, but aren't sure if you want to become a full-time student.
  • Finish your degree, when you have a few units to complete. Some limits apply to UC Davis students; contact your college advisor to confirm your options.
  • Take classes to improve your GPA for readmission to UC Davis.
  • Learn more about your professional field by acquiring new knowledge.
  • Obtain college credit that you can transfer to a college or university.
  • Expand your knowledge--take a university class for personal enrichment.
Contact your college advisor to confirm your options and make use of this opportunity.
