Prior to ordering your textbook, check the website for the latest textbook information as this information can change. You may purchase your book from any vendor you choose. Prices can vary widely so you might want to try using a comparison site like http://www.bestbookbuys.com.
Recommended textbooks are listed as additional resources if you are interested, and you are not required to purchase them to complete the course.
Purchasing from the UC Davis Bookstore
If the textbook you are looking for is carried by the UC Davis Bookstore you can purchase it by visiting our website and clicking on the link on the course description page under required textbooks or visit their website at http://bookstore.ucdavis.edu. You can also purchase your book from the UC Davis Bookstore, 2270 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, (916) 734-3452.
Note: UC Davis Extension textbooks are not carried at the bookstore on the UC Davis campus.
Lowest price guarantee
If you find the same book, in the same condition at any other bookstore or commercial website for a lower price, the UC Davis Bookstore will match the price. Bring your receipt to the UC Davis Bookstore, Sacramento, within two weeks of the purchase date and they’ll refund the difference.
For online orders, you can send verification of the price, within two weeks of purchase, to pricematch@ucdavis.edu. Include your UC Davis Bookstore order number and the URL for the site advertising the lower price. The UC Davis Bookstore will buy-back many textbooks. Textbooks can be sold back at the UC Davis Bookstore in Sacramento and during select times at the Sutter Galleria. Some restrictions apply.
