Introduction to the field of educational psychology from a perspective that is primarily concerned with learning and the mind.  This topic is approached through cognitive psychology research about basic learning, developmental psychology research that informs understandings of children’s developmental learning, and education research that examines learning in classrooms and schools.

This course is exclusively for UC Davis School of Education Teacher Credential Candidates. Acceptance into the School of Education Teacher Credential Program for 2024 is a mandatory pre-requisite.

This is an online, remote learning course, which consists of content and curriculum that is taught with pre-recorded lectures. Pre-recorded lectures are accessed via our Canvas learning system and Zoom. Details regarding login information and, the availability of lectures will be emailed out prior to the course start date.

Enrollment Policies
