Discounts
Please note: We are unable to process credit card payments for discounted enrollments online. If you would like to enroll online in a course at a discounted fee you can submit your enrollment information online using the Discounted Enrollment option and our student services staff will call you back to process your payment information. Discounts cannot be combined and are not retroactive.
Proof of membership or employment is required at the time of enrollment to receive one of the following discounts.
For groups
Organizations enrolling three or more people at the same time in courses which indicate "discounts for groups" may do so for 10 percent off each enrollment. All registrations must be submitted at the same time and fees paid with one check, credit card or purchase order.
For affiliation
Members of some organizations or associations may enroll in select courses (noted in course descriptions) at a 10 percent discount.
For CAAA members
Cal Aggie Alumni Association members may enroll in one UC Davis Extension or Open Campus Program course per quarter at a 10 percent discount up to $100 per course. Proof of membership required at the time of enrollment. CAAA membership is open to anyone. Contact the CAAA at (530) 752-0286 for more information.
For UC Alumni Association Members
Alumni association members of any UC campus may enroll in one UC Davis Extension or Open Campus Program course per quarter at a 10 percent discount up to $100 per course. Proof of membership is required when you enroll. Check with your alumni office for information on your membership status.
UC Davis faculty and staff discounts
All UC Davis career faculty and staff are eligible for the following fee discounts:
20 percent discount – Save up to $200
All UC Davis career staff and academics are eligible for a 20 percent discount up to $200 per course. This discount applies to most UC Davis Extension and Open Campus courses (see below for exemptions).
The following programs are exempt from the 20 percent discount:
- Mustangs A Living Legacy
- Mountain Horsemanship: Veterinary Care and Horsepacking in the Wilderness
50 percent discount
All UC Davis career staff and academics are eligible for a 50 percent discount when they enroll in a course three or fewer working days prior to the course start date. This discount is only offered on a space available basis and it applies to most UC Davis Extension courses (see below for exemptions).
Employees who enroll in a course using the 20 percent discount noted above may not withdraw, re-enroll or transfer to another course during the same quarter and receive the 50 percent discount. No enrollment will be accepted for the 50 percent discount prior to three working days of the course start date.
The following courses and programs are exempt from the 50% discount:
- Executive Program
- Management Development Program
- All online courses
- Horse programs
- All Brewing programs
- Self-supporting master's degree programs
- Open Campus
- Paralegal Studies program
- Leadership Challenge program
- Environmental Health and Safety programs
Other conditions
The staff discounts of 20 percent or 50 percent may not be combined or used with any other discount. The discount applies only to the course fee and not other course-related items, such as books, housing, meals, parking and/or transportation. Discounts may not be applied retroactively.
