Enrollment Policies for Online Learning Courses
Withdrawals
Requests to withdraw from a course must be received in writing via email before your login expires. Send an email to: studentservices@extensiondlc.net requesting a withdrawal. You will need to include your name, the course title and the course section number. Following the proper withdrawal procedure will ensure an appropriate grade assignment.
Refunds and transfers
Refund or transfer requests will be approved, less a $30 processing fee, if a written email request, sent to studentservices@extensiondlc.net is received within two weeks of your start date and if you have not gone beyond Lesson 1 of the course. You will need to include your name, the course title and the course section number.
Exceptions
There are a few exceptions (highlighted below) to the enrollment policies for online learning courses.
Education

Land Use and Natural Resources
Requests to withdraw with a refund (less a $30 processing fee) or transfer to another course must be received seven calendar days before the course begins.
Viticulture and Enology
Refund requests for all online learning Viticulture and Enology courses must be made within two weeks of the start of the course. The refund-processing fee is $50. Other policies and fees may apply.
