Jill McCurdy, M.S.,
began her career as a wild land firefighter, working with both engine and heli-tack crew personnel. Since then, her broad experience has included many positions in fire and aviation management, ranging from being a helicopter operations specialist and rappel spotter to heli-base manager and air operations branch director. McCurdy has also chaired the National Interagency Aerial Ignition Working Group and co-chaired the National Interagency Helicopter Rappel Working Group.When:
