Survey of Plant Communities in California
Travel across Northern California by bus--from the coast to the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada--and receive hands-on experience about the diverse plant communities within the state.
Taught entirely in the field, lectures focus on the surrounding ecology of the vegetation and ecosystems you will discover as you travel, participate in some short hikes and camp overnight.
Outdoor Programs
Mustangs: A Living Legacy
Track wild horses and relive the Old West in the seldom-visited Pizona area of the Inyo National Forest. From a central meadow camp, riders track the mustangs in their natural pinyon forest habitat.
Mountain Horsemanship: Veterinary Care and Horsepacking in the Wilderness
This deluxe, seven-day pack trip covers all the essentials of horsepacking in the wilderness with the Golden Trout Wilderness as your laboratory.
