Travel across Northern California by bus--from the coast to the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada--and receive hands-on experience about the diverse plant communities within the state. Taught entirely in the field, lectures focus on the surrounding ecology of the vegetation and ecosystems you will discover as you travel, participate in some short hikes and camp overnight.
