Master Brewers Program Wins its Fifth JS Ford Award
UC Davis Extension Master Brewers Program graduate Ben Smith is the 2013 winner of the London-based International Institute of Brewing and Distilling's prestigious JS Ford Award for the best overall performance on the Diploma in Brewing Exam. This is the fifth time in six years that a UC Davis Extension student has won the award. Smith also took home the Brewers Engineers Association Engineering Award for the highest score on the Module 3, Packaging and Process Technology exam.
