Project Risk Management


Learn processes for identifying, analyzing, planning for and responding to project risks. Gain a thorough understanding of how to maximize the probability and consequences of positive events and minimize the probability and consequences of adverse events to your project objectives. Using PMBOK®, gain the knowledge to develop and plan the risk management aspects of your projects and learn to identify possible threats and opportunities. 

Discover how to perform risk analyses and quantify probability and consequences. Learn to plan mitigation and contingency measures and iteratively manage outcomes.

Prerequisite:

Fundamentals of Project Management, Project Integration and Scope Management or Introduction to Project Management. The project management program was recently revised and many of the prerequisites have changed. If you took an older version of a prerequisite it may still apply. Instructor(s):

Rochelle Furtah, PMP, has provided project management consulting and training to a variety of private and public organizations for more than 20 years. She focuses on enterprise project management, independent project oversight consulting, facilitation and developing virtual project teams. She is certified as a project management professional by the Project Management Institute and has a certificate in project management from UC Davis Extension.
