Intermediate Accounting


Gain a thorough understanding of the theory behind best practices in accounting and learn to incorporate those theories into practical usage. Focus on the preparation of principal accounting statements, including the recording, valuation and presentation of cash, temporary investments, receivables and inventories. Explore accounting concepts for physical plants and equipment, intangibles, current assets and liabilities, fixed asset accounting and current obligations.

Principles of Financial Accounting

Instructor(s):

Don Adcock, M.S., CPA, is a senior manager with Ernst & Young, LLP, where he has been since 1988. His expertise is in tax and accounting for companies and individuals, entity forms and all state income tax systems. Adcock has been a guest lecturer and is a frequent instructor for Ernst & Young's internal training programs. He is a member of the California Society of Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
