Enterprise Analysis: Defining the Business Need


Gain a comprehensive understanding of the organizational framework of your projects, and learn techniques to help you create systems to support your entire enterprise. Learn to collect pre-project and early project data to capture an accurate and realistic view of business requirements and the necessary functional design work for any given initiative. Examine how to incorporate context into your short- and long-term plans. Explore investigative feasibility techniques to create business architecture and strategies in line with your projects themselves.  

Determine optimal business solutions by developing a business case for your proposed solution; defining and documenting business requirements and assessing the capability of your organization to meet needs and achieve your strategic goals.

Instructor(s):

Brian Porter has been in the IT industry for more than 30 years has more than 40 years of experience in the IT industry, with extensive expertise in large systems processing and as a business analyst.  Porter specializes in leading classes and seminars for both technical and business experts. His long list of clients includes the California Department of Technology Services, California Department of Motor Vehicles, California Franchise Tax Board, the Armed Forces Bank and UC Davis. Brian is president of the Sacramento chapter of the IIBA.

 

 


When:

Enroll now through Feb. 8 and complete by March 19. Passwords issued starting Jan. 11.

Format:
