Social Media

Business organizations are incorporating social media into their marketing strategies more rapidly than predicted. Clearly, with more than 100 million videos being viewed on YouTube each day, the increasing presence of blogs and the incredible traffic on Facebook and Twitter, marketing professionals cannot help but notice that such widespread adoption can play a critical role in advertising and promotions.

Explore the five types of social media--blogs, podcasts, wikis, social networks and content networks--as well as the fundamentals behind such phenomenal growth. Examine how marketing professionals are using each new medium to create brand awareness and buzz, and learn how these communications tools affect your firm's marketing, advertising and public relations strategies.
