Industrial Safety Hazard Control


Expand your understanding of industrial safety hazard control by identifying and assessing hazards in the workplace. Learn how to recognize priority hazards as well as strategies for removing them. Discover how to use regulations as tools to identify and control hazards. Use case studies to learn from the field and brainstorm your own potential solutions to real-life problems. This is a required course for the Workplace Health and Safety Certificate Program, the Health and Safety Trainer Specialized Studies Program and the Intensive Certificate Program in Health and Safety.

Instructor(s):

Donald Cunningham, P.E., C.S.P., is a California Registered Safety Engineer and Certified Safety Professional with more than 40 years of experience in private industry and government. He has advised employers throughout the state on occupational safety and health issues for many years, previously as a safety consultant with Cal/OSHA Consultation Service and currently as a consultant in private practice.
