Leadership Excellence and Discovery
From the Director
The UC Davis Executive Program was launched in 1975, and since then the region's most promising executives and senior leaders have made attending the program part of their strategic career path. Since 1975 UC Davis Extension has been educating the people who direct the businesses and agencies that define the economic and political landscape here in the greater Sacramento Valley. Indeed, our alumni number more than 1,300, all from a very select group of businesses and government agencies at the forefront of a changing California.
The UC Davis Executive Program, to be sure, is not for everyone. It's designed for leaders. It's designed for people who are not content with easy and glib answers to the increasingly difficult challenges senior-level managers face in today's changing workplace. The UC Davis Executive Program, in other words, is for people who want to think for themselves and who want to do so with the best information available.
With nearly 40 years of experience, we know what works and what doesn't. That's why the UC Davis Executive Program is very interactive and requires a high level of engagement by its participants. We'll ask you to dig deep into your thinking, so that you really understand why you think and act the way you do as a leader. To be sure, it is hard work. But when you come out on the other side, having spent ten weeks in the program, you'll be glad you invested the time and energy.
At UC Davis Extension, we know what it takes to be a leader in business education. It takes commitment. It takes a commitment to the highest academic standards. It takes a commitment to staying on top of the latest business developments. It takes a commitment to being not just smart but smarter. It takes a commitment to being not just better than the other programs in the region but a commitment to being the best. At UC Davis Extension, we are committed to being the best executive education program in California's Central Valley. And the region's top employers (both private and public) agree: the UC Davis Executive Program is the best in the region.
The UC Davis Executive Program isn't for everyone. But if taking charge of your future is important to you, please consider joining the class of 2012 to explore and learn more about the rapidly changing world in which we live.
