Our Mission
The UC Davis Executive Program is a case study in competitiveness. When it began in 1975 it was the only program of its kind in the region. And for years the program had no direct competitors. So, how do you stay competitive when you're a monopoly? Easy. You compete against yourself.
From the very beginning, the directors of the UC Davis Executive Program have set the bar higher and higher for themselves, each year trying to improve upon the previous year's performance. And now, lots of competitors later, the UC Davis Executive Program is still the region's "Gold Standard." How did we do it? We stayed focused.
While other programs tried to "time the market" by offering courses that had the latest buzz words, the most current fads, the directors of the UC Davis Executive Program stayed focused on offering the time-tested essentials for business and career success: knowledge of self and knowledge of the world. We've been around for nearly 40 years. During that time other programs and schools have come and gone. UC Davis has thrived by raising the bar, setting the standard for executive education.
