Health Education for Teachers

Physical and mental health issues can be a huge obstacle to a child's ability to learn and succeed in school. Learn about current issues affecting the health of children and youth, including communicable diseases, child abuse, neglect, obesity, and mental and emotional health and wellness. Successful completion of this course fulfills the health education requirement for a Ryan Clear California Teaching Credential as stated in the Title V regulations.

Note: You are required to have CPR certification for the Clear Credential. CPR certification is not included in this course. Please contact your local American Heart Association or the American Red Cross for details on how to obtain CPR certification.
