Featured courses

Workplace Health and Safety - ICP
The Health and Safety Intensive Certificate Program (ICP) is designed to expand the awareness and practical skills of those responsible for employee health and safety. Instead of commuting to UC Davis for a series of two- or four-day classes over a period of one to two years, you spend just 24 days in class, spread out through June, July and August.

Fire and Life Safety Awareness
This course features "passive" versus "active" fire protection features, maintenance of exits, knowledge and use of fire extinguishers, impact to and from other occupants, human behavior before and during an emergency, proper storage techniques, and services potentially available through local fire departments.

Industrial Hygiene
Gain an overview of occupational health hazards, including how they can be recognized, evaluated and controlled. Instructors focus on the topics most likely to confront safety managers today, such as indoor air quality, noise protection and mold.

Incident Investigation Techniques
Acquire the knowledge, practical skills and tools you need to conduct incident investigations.
