This class will provide an overview of the major components of emergency planning, and how effective pre-planning leads to a fully operational emergency management system. By working proactively to identify the tools of emergency management, your company will have appropriate programs in place to address life safety, property protection, communications and community outreach in the event of an incident. Federal and state regulations depicting the need for pre-planning will be outlined and briefly reviewed, and additional information resources will be identified. This course is intended for safety personnel, facility managers, risk managers and others whose duties include facilities and personnel protection.
