Hazardous Materials Emergency Planning

Learn how to navigate through the numerous hazardous materials emergency plans that must be developed, their respective legal requirements, and the basic plan elements required for each of these plans. Before actually writing an emergency plan, you will have to go through the emergency planning process - this class will show you which steps to take. You will examine emergency management principles, how emergency planning fits in, and why it is not just the "plan" that is important, but the "process."
