Medical Management of Hazardous Materials Incidents

This course is designed for emergency medical responders and hospital emergency department personnel who may be called upon to care for patients exposed to hazardous materials, including chemical, nuclear, and biological agents. Learn about safety considerations at hazardous materials/ terrorism sites, as well as hospital emergency department preparedness. With a focus on incident recognition and toxicology, this course will provide students a foundation for recognizing and safely handling victims of exposure to chemical and biological agents.
