Pathobiology of the Mouse, Tier II A: Mouse as a Model for Mammary Gland Cancer
The objective of this course is to provide a solid foundation in history of research on the topic, anatomy and physiology of the developing and mature murine mammary gland, techniques for using the mouse as a model, neoplastic progression with an emphasis on the mammary gland, how to choose the appropriate GEM model for your research interests, how to examine a neoplastic stained section and what are the prototypic phenotypes of four commonly used GEM models.
