Information Technology at UC Davis Extension

We’ve seen a lot of changes in the IT industry over the past 10 years. But the tech sector is nothing if not resilient and the jobs are still out there. However, it is no longer enough to have solid technical skills. Now employers, particularly the larger companies, are looking for strong business and communication skills as well.

We recognized this trend early on and have developed a number of Business and Technology Skills courses to prepare IT professionals for this new job market. Many of our Business and Management courses and programs are also very appropriate for the IT professional looking to move ahead.

Project Management skills are essential to any type of project, particularly when the project involves technology. We offer a wide range of Project Management courses as well as a complete Certificate Program in Project Management to help you successfully manage your next project, no matter how large the scope or complexity.
