Layout Design for the Web
Today the Web is the ultimate tool for creative expression. Construct your web pages with key conceptual elements of design in mind, including strong visual dialogue and essential visual, relational and practical components. Using design principles, learn basic theories of layout—white space, typography, line weight, proportion, grid, interval and color theory. Create sophisticated, high quality, aesthetically pleasing visual messages with an emphasis on web design considerations, including file formats.
Mark Yeager, M.A.,is a professor and creative consultant in the areas of game and graphic design, illustration and multimedia production. He is a guest lecturer in media arts animation and game art design at the Art Institute of Sacramento. His client list includes Campbell’s Soup, Intel, Sony Entertainment and Nestle. Yeager has also worked as an art director and has been instrumental in co-creating a new line of innovative print and web comic books previewed at the San Diego Comic Con.
Enroll now through February 10 and complete by March 09. Passwords issued starting January 13.
