Custom English and Pre-Academic Programs
For more than 35 years, we have been providing the highest quality educational and training programs to universities and organizations throughout the world. Our close and active relationships with UC Davis departments and colleges have led to a number of cooperative projects that combine training in several areas. One recent example is our work with a Japanese research and graduate university and the UC Davis College of Biological Sciences to provide a program of English instruction—tutorials in research paper writing and presentations—and participation in the College's graduate seminars. We also receive Fulbright scholars into our Intensive English Program every year, and we run the Humphrey Fellows Scholars Pre-academic Orientation and Training Program, one of only three universities in the United States to do so, every summer.
There are many ways in which we can work with our overseas partners to customize programs that specifically meet their needs. Sample programs include:

UC Davis Extension has developed a strong online learning education portfolio over the past 10 years. It now possesses a breadth of courses and certificate programs that can be accessed throughout the world. International Programs can design hybrid programs that include online curriculum with traditional on-site instruction, based on both internal university strengths and current needs of international clients.
