2013 marks the 24th year that the UC Davis School of Law will offer attorneys, judges and legal professionals from around the world the opportunity to participate in our programs especially designed for foreign practitioners and students.

Orientation in U.S.A. Law
July 7-August 3, 2013
This popular program provides an excellent overview of the U.S. legal system. Over the past 22 years, more than 2,000 participants from 50 countries have taken part in this program. Enroll by June 1 to qualify for the early enrollment discount.

August 5-16, 2013
Legal and business practitioners gain familiarity with international trade, commerce and investments as well as international dispute resolution.

The Sixteenth Annual International Commercial Law Seminar in Cologne, Germany
June 17-28, 2013
Now in its sixteenth year, the International Commercial Law Seminar is a joint collaboration between the University of California, the University of Cologne and the German Bar Association (DAV). The program will be offered for two weeks in June 2013. Enroll by April 15 for the early enrollment discount.

Licensing Academy
June 2-14, 2013
The Licensing Academy on Intellectual Property and Technology Commercialization provides international lawyers, technology managers and scientific professionals with strategies and tactics for managing intellectual property.

The Summer International Commercial Law LL.M. program was designed for working attorneys. Apply by May 31 to allow for adequate admissions processing time.
