Presented by the University of California, Davis and the University of Cologne, in cooperation with the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS), the Arbitration Documentation and Information Center (ADIC) and the German Bar Association (DAV).

Lectures, case studies and simulations will be presented by leading authorities from the faculties of law at the University of Cologne, Indiana University and Bucerius Law School. Participation of attorneys and other professionals from around the world provides a unique opportunity for discussion of a wide variety of views from many different legal perspectives.

Certificates and credit

• The seminar qualifies for continuing legal education (CLE) credit in New York and California.
• All participants will receive a certificate of attendance if they attend class regularly. Participants who wish to take the course for credit can request an official transcript upon successful completion of course requirements and a final exam.
• Academic credit from any of these programs may be applied toward the part-time summer International Commercial Law LL.M. and/or the Licentiate in International Transactions Involving the United States.

Participants are responsible for reservation, confirmation and payment of hotel rooms.

For your convenience, each year UC Davis holds rooms at the Esplanade Hotel.The Esplanade Hotel is within walking distance to the Rotonda Business Club, but you are free to choose any hotel you like. An Internet search indicates that there are at least 14 other hotels in the immediate area.

A group rate discount is available at the Esplanade Hotel through April 30, 2011. When you make your reservation, please tell the reservationist that you are booking with the UC Davis International Law Programs group.
