Understanding the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta: An Overview of Delta Governance and Regulation

Gain a comprehensive overview of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and an understanding of its significance to California in this introductory course. Explore all aspects of the Delta, past and present, including current plans to improve and protect the Delta water system, its built environment, infrastructure, hydrology, ecosystem, fish and wildlife, land use and water project operations.

This course is intended for water, land use and natural resource professionals, scientists, engineers, policy makers and community leaders who want to gain a comprehensive overview of the Delta and what its future might be.
