TIPS & Guidelines

Sharing a story is easy. It doesn’t have to be long (although we’ll give you up to 500 words if you want them!). Did you get a new job? Overcome an obstacle? Apply your learning in a creative way? Spark a new passion? Take a few moments to pay it forward and inspire other lifelong learners and educators.

• Keep it brief.
• Give your story a title that’s descriptive to help the reader but feel free to have some fun with this!
• Classify your story. Select affiliation category, decade, and program (field of study). This will make it easier for you and other readers to browse and locate stories of interest.
• For your privacy, only your first name and last initial will be displayed with your published story.
• We kindly ask that you respect the purpose of this site—use it only to share an inspiring story. If you have a customer service issue, please contact the UC Davis Extension customer care expert.
