A proud history

Since the first continuing education class was held in San Francisco in 1891, the University of California's Extension program has blossomed into a multi-campus, statewide commitment to professional and continuing education for adults—serving hundreds of thousands of students every year. UC Davis Extension was established in 1960 as the Sacramento region's premier provider of continuing and professional education. Today UC Davis Extension serves lifelong learners in the growing Sacramento area, all 50 states and more than 100 countries.
