Leading Through Emotional Intelligence and Coaching

When you understand how your emotions impact the way others see you—and how your emotions shape the way you react to others—you've taken a significant step toward leadership success. This information-packed, three-day course will teach you about the 6-Seconds EQ model, which illustrates the impact of stress on your communication and can enhance your interactions in the workplace. You’ll also learn to lead with a “coaching mindset,” which allows you to react and respond to employees in a way that builds trust, facilitates communication and increases performance. Your instructor for this course is Dawn Karner, a certified coach and consultant with more than 25 years of experience.

Note: This is an online, remote learning course, which consists of content and curriculum that is taught with pre-recorded and real time lectures, in addition to a real-time Q&A session with the instructors. Details regarding login information, the availability of lectures and the time(s) of instructor Q&As will be emailed out prior to the course start date. This course meets August 13, 20, and 27, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
