  • How long is the program?
  • The online certificate program can be completed in 12months (four academic quarters).
  • How much does it cost?
  • Tuition for the entire Web Development Certificate Program is $4,125 (or $825 for each course); however discounts are available.
  • What audience is this program designed for?
  • This certificate program is designed for individuals with little to no experience in web development, or for those who work in the field but are looking to brush up on their skills.
  • How does the “fast track model” work?
  • UC Davis’ Fast Track Certificate format is a convenient way to accelerate the training process. Students can complete a certificate program in 12 months and save on the overall certificate cost with our pre-pay pricing option.
When you choose the Fast Track Certificate option, we automatically enroll you in a pre-approved schedule over four academic quarters.

  • Can courses be taken individually as standalone courses?
  • Yes, but some courses do have required prerequisites.   You will not be able to enroll in those courses until the prerequisite is met.

  • Is there a payment plan?
  • No, but courses can be taken one at a time so that you are not paying for the entire program all at once. Additional discounts per course can be applied.

  • Can I transfer these credits to another institution?
  • These courses are offered for academic credit, but you will need to have confirmation from the accepting institution on whether they will accept them for credit.
  • Is there any financial aid that I could receive?
  • At this time, UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education students are not eligible for financial aid based on FASFA, or Title IV funds.  Please visit our page Financing Your Education to learn more about which financial aid you may qualify for.
