Davis author Don Peri will lead a discussion about Charles Schulz’s life and career on our bus ride to the Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa. Schulz’s “Peanuts Gang” comic strip first appeared in print on October 2, 1950, and, over the next 50 years, his cast of characters would change the landscape of the Sunday comics. At the museum, we will have a docent-led tour to explore the man behind Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang. Time for a no-host lunch at the Warm Puppy Café on site will be included.
