Counting on Puppets

Puppets have been used for years to teach children (and sometimes adults) lessons and concepts. Famous examples include Punch and Judy, Mr. Rogers and as the inhabitants of Sesame Street. Participants in this class will create simple puppets from construction paper, learn songs, poems and actions, and share in group activities that will give them a fun way to teach counting to children—their grandkids, nieces, nephews, friends or just to connect with their inner child for a morning of enjoyment. Bring a pair of scissors and a happy smile. Instructor will provide all other supplies.
