This lecture and group discussion will focus on an in-depth review of the criminal justice system in California with some national topics. The goal is to understand the flaws and strength of criminal justice, criminalizing behavior, arresting (police), charging and prosecuting (district attorneys), sentencing and punishing (judiciary) and defending (public defenders).
