Whether you have experience as a project manager or not, this comprehensive 35-hour, classroom-based training provides you with concepts and skills to effectively organize and execute projects, and a managerial perspective to increase project success. Learn from an experienced project manager, and examine how processes are linked together. Explore how to incorporate the nine knowledge areas of project management, and learn how to determine a project’s life cycles, and investigate the role and significance stakeholders and organizational influences can have on your plans.

Upon successful completion, you will meet the educational requirements to sit for the CAPM® or PMP® exam. This course may quality for job training funds.

This course is offered every winter and summer quarter and can be substituted for the Fundamentals of Project Management course in the Project Management Certificate Program.
