This course will focus on the promotion of sustainable communities through the lens of equity and engagement. Key topics will include equitable development, public health, environmental and climate justice and vulnerable and disadvantaged communities. We will examine successful community engagement strategies, including the latest methods and tools for engaging diverse populations, along with stakeholders and decision-makers, in order to build support for transformational shifts in policy needed for long-term sustainability and resilience.
