In session one of this series, we will examine the history of horse racing and evolution of the Thoroughbred racing breed. Discussion will include insights on the breeding and raising of these incredible horses. We will also consider the conduct and regulation of the sport/business of horse racing. In session two, we’ll view the 2003 film Seabiscuit. Rene Viargues will share historic and cinematic insights on the making of the film.
