  • This program offers relevant skills and training for a wide variety of professionals, from safety offers to workers’ compensation specialists. You will learn about critical health and safety issues facing private business, industry and government.
  • Who teaches these courses?
  • Our courses are taught by recognized experts in the field of health and safety.
  • How long will it take to complete the certificate program?
  • This will depend on the availability of courses that comprise your certificate program. On average, it will take approximately two years if you take one course per quarter. You will have up to five years to complete your program, including those classes taken prior to submitting your certificate registration.
  • What is the 3-year Certificate Agreement program?
  • Students may opt in for our “fast track” 3-year certificate agreement. This agreement is for students that register for the certificate after September 1, 2018 and agree to complete the program in three years or less. UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education will then cover the cost of the students last course (up to $675) and waive the $125 registration fee.
